The Lake Wales History Museum presents the 48th Annual Pioneer Days festival on October 26 & 27 in Lake Wales, FL from 9:00AM-5:00PM ! As always, a Community Market will take place as part of the festival, and we’re excited to have this element supported by the Buena Market team from Lakeland.

The Pioneer Days Community Market will be a curated market that features artisan goods, specialty products, curated vintage, handcrafted, natural and value-added products, and local art. This festival will be held at Lake Wailes Park, located at 33 N. Lake Shore Boulevard.

Ready to Apply?

The deadline to apply is August 28, 2024. This application consists of questions to help us understand your brand and products and a participation agreement for you to read and sign. 

Note: We are not currently accepting applications for food trucks. Additionally, MLM products will not be considered (examples: Mary Kay, Scentsy, etc.)

  • Lake Wailes Park (Not a Typo!), 33 North Lake Shore Boulevard. A large waterfront park in Lake Wales, Florida.

  • Due to limited staff, we are not able to accept paper or phone applications this year.

  • If you have any questions about the market, the best way to receive up-to-date information is by emailing market@lakewaleshistory.org. The Community Market's vendor coordinator will be happy to assist you. (Please note that we are currently receiving a high volume of inquiries at this time, so we kindly ask you to give our team 24 hours to respond.)

  • We are not able to accommodate every submission in the market, and as a result an application does not guarantee a spot. Each vendor application is subject to approval as we carefully curate the Community Market in 2024 to elevate our heritage-based event. Applications are reviewed with the market's size, product mix, categories, and location in mind.

  • We are grateful for your interest in Pioneer Days! Status updates will be shared one week after the application deadline. If your application is approved, a booking confirmation will be shared at that time. If we are unable to accommodate you this time around, your information will be held on file for future events.

  • Booth size: 10 x 10 tent

    Vendor fees: $100 for both days, $60 for Saturday, $50 for Sunday

    Booth sharing is not allowed at this event.

  • Yes! The vendor fee is calculated by the number of days you choose and the amount of booths you request. For example, one booth for two days is $100, so two booth spaces for two days would be $200.
